Ace Product Recycling Service...Ace makes it easy.

Ace has established a recycling program in the US since 2008. If you have old products needed for recycling or are interested in how our recycling partner handles the old products, please see our website at www.acecomputers.com/recycle.asp for more information.

To Residential (B2C) Customers:

Ace believes in providing no-cost, easy-to-use solutions to our customers to recycle your Ace branded products for free. Ace works with recycling vendors with the highest standards for protecting our environment, ensuring worker safety, and complying with global environmental laws. Our commitment to recycling our old equipment grows out of our work to protect the environment in many ways.

If you have any of your Ace products you no longer need, please consider recycling it by donating it to a non-profit agency. We have ties to several of these type of agencies, and can easily provide you with information on making a direct donation and receiving a tax credit. For further information on our recycling service in the United States, please contact us at 877-223-2667.

For customers recycling in California:

Customers who would like to recycle their Ace products in California should visit www.eRecycle.org for further information.

For customers recycling in Maine:

We encourage all of our customers to recycle their used electronics. All waste computer monitors, portable computers, digital picture frames, televisions, portable DVD players, desktop printers, and video game consoles generated by households in Maine must be recycled. Please contact your local municipality for information about how and where to recycle your e-waste in your area. For more information about Maine´s electronic waste law, please visit the Maine Department of Environmental Protection website at www.maine.gov/dep/rwm/ewaste/index.htm.

For customers recycling in Maryland:

Maryland´s Statewide Electronics Recycling Program became effective on October 1, 2007. We provide free recycling service, including packaging if requested, for Ace-brand products to both residential and institutional users. Please visit www.acecomputers.com/recycle.asp if you have old products in need of recycling. For more information about Maryland´s electronic waste law, please visit the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) at www.mde.state.md.us/eCycling.

For customers recycling in Virginia:

Virginia´s Computer Recovery and Recycling Act (2008) went effective on July 1, 2009. The ACT requires electronic manufacturers to provide free takeback service to residential consumers in Virginia. Ace assures that covered electronic devices returned to our electronics recycling partners, meets the requirements of all applicable laws, as required in Virginia´s laws. For more information about the ACT, please visit the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality website at www.deq.virginia.gov/ecycling.

To Institutional (B2B) Users:

Ace believes in providing our institutional customers with easy-to-use solutions to recycle your Ace branded products for free. As well, we can arrange for recycling of other (non-Ace) electronic products, for your convenience. Ace understands that institutional customers will likely be recycling multiple items at once and as such, Ace wants to make the recycling process for these larger shipments as streamlined as possible. Ace works with recycling vendors who maintain the highest standards for protecting our environment, ensuring worker safety, and comply with global environmental laws. Our commitment to recycling our old equipment grows out of our work to protect the environment in many ways.

Please see the product type below for information on Ace product, battery and packaging recycling in the US.

For Product Recycling:

Your portable Ace products contain hazardous materials. While they pose no risk to you during normal use, they should never be disposed with other wastes. Ace provides a free take-back service for recycling your Ace products. Our electronics recycler will provide competitive bids for recycling non-Ace products as well. If you have products for recycling, please go to www.acecomputers.com/recycle.asp for more information on this program.

For Battery Recycling:

The batteries used to power your portable Ace products contain hazardous materials. While they pose no risk to you during normal use, they should never be disposed with other wastes. As a participant in the RBRC’s “Call2Recycle” program, Ace provides a free take-back service for recycling your batteries from Ace products. If you have batteries for recycling, please go to www.acecomputers.com/recycle.asp for more information on this program.

For Packaging Recycling:

Ace has chosen the packaging materials used to transport our products carefully, to balance the requirements of shipping the product to you safely while minimizing the amount of material used. The materials used in our packaging are designed to be recycled locally (contact Ace for help in finding regional recyclers). Please contact Ace for information on recycling both packaging as well as product itself. Ace participates in recycling for both cardboard and other paper-based materials as well as for extruded polystyrene foam packaging through the Alliance of Foam Packaging Recyclers. However, we know that not all regions have local recycling options for all packaging materials. Ace provides a free take-back service for packaging materials. Contact Ace for more information on this program.
