GCN honors ACE Computers technology innovation with 2009 best of FOSE award

Falls Church, Va. - March 11, 2009 - FOSE 2009, the most comprehensive event for government information technology (IT) professionals, today announced ACE Computers the winner of the Government Computer News (GCN) Best of FOSE Award for its’ ACE Lightning Desktop Computer.   GCN recognizes outstanding and innovative information technology (IT) products for government exhibited at the show.  More than 65 companies submitted a total of 115 new products for consideration during this year's competition. 

The GCN Best of FOSE Awards were open to any FOSE 2009 exhibiting company that was showcasing a new product for use in the public sector.  GCN's editors and technology analysts reviewed the new products during FOSE show hours and chose the winner based on four criteria:  innovation; usability/applicability to government; relative performance based on specifications; and value.
