Ace High Performance Server Categories:

  • High Availability
  • Load Balancing
  • Distributed Processing
  • Storage

Ace features 1U and 2U rack mounted systems that utilize the NVIDIA Tesla GPU Series for graphic intensive high performance computing solutions. Platforms are available in standard Head Node / Compute Node configurations to highly dense blade configurations. Head Node configurations can utilize our high density storage platforms for maximum investment potential, featuring dual hot-swappable nodes in both 1U and 2U form factors and quad hot-swappable nodes with redundant power supplies in a 2U form factor. Users can choose from standard Gigabit Ethernet or DDR/QDR Infiniband options, as well as both 2.5" & 3.5" SAS/SATA drive support (Up to 6 dedicated drives per node!) providing excellent performance and the ability to customize the solution.

The latest powerhouse in high performance from Ace is the new 5B485 Series, offering up to 80 Cores and 160 threads in a fantastic 5U configuration. This system features support for up to 16 SFF hard drives (with expansion up to 24 available), and supports up to 2TB of memory using 32GB DDR3 RDIMMs (when they become available). The 5B485 Series is designed around the latest Westmere-EX (E7-2800/4800/8800) Intel Xeon processors, and offers significant PCIe expansion including Quad GPU (Double Wide) support at true x16, plus 2 additional expansion slots!

Ace previously announced the 4B441 Series of Maximum Performance, packing 40 cores and 80 threads into a 4U configuration that supports up to 1TB of memory (64 slots / 8 memory risers) using 16GB DDR3 RDIMMs. If you are considering the Dell R910, you need to look at the Ace Powerworks 4B441 Series. These systems are based on the latest Nehalem-EX / Boxboro-EX architecture from Intel.

Ace Powerworks 4B441 Features:

  • Intel 7500 Chipset
  • Hexa-Core / Octo-Core Xeon 6500/7500 Series CPUs
  • Support the new E7-2800/4800/8800 Westmere-EX CPUs
  • Up to 11 PCI Slots
  • Other Configurations (including a 1U High Density Model!) are available

GPU Computing built around the new NVIDIA Tesla M2050 / M2070 is dramatically altering the choices available, and Ace offers two different 4U solutions, providing from 4 to 8 GPU´s in a single unit! Both platforms include Dual Intel XEON CPU´s, and exceptional performance. The 4 GPU solution offers traditional storage options including up to 8 SAS drives and 64GB of memory (8x8GB). The High Density GPU solution offers up to 144GB (18x8GB) of memory, and dual internal hard drives, plus additional PCI/PCIe slots to support expanded communications or external drive support.

  • Standard Configurations of 6 or 8 GPUs in a
    28" Depth 4U Rackmount
  • Up to 3x 2400W in a 2+1 Redundant Configuration
    (200-240V)
  • 12 PCIe Slots (including 8x PCIe 2.0 x16)
    and 1 PCI slot
  • Quad Gigabit LAN Standard

The Ace Xeon Blade System is a highly redundant, flexible, and easy-to-service unit that holds up to 14 dual processor (DP) server blades or 7 multiple processor (MP) server blades (28 processors) in a 7U space, twice the density of rack-mounted servers. The cost of this high-density chassis is amortized over as many as 14 servers, reducing overall infrastructure and support costs.

Ace PowerWorks 7000XL Blade System Features:

  • Hot-plug compute blades, management modules, and network switches
  • Media tray supports shared floppy and CDROM drives, USB port
  • Longevity to support current and future compute and networking technologies
  • Flexibility to adapt to your storage needs

The Ace Universal Blade System is a highly dense blade style enclosure which allows the integration of 10 units into an 8U space. The node chassis’ design allows for varied Intel or AMD configurations depending on your specific needs. System reliability is further enhanced by redundant power supplies and cooling.

Ace Universal Blade System Features:

  • Front access to expansion slots & I/O panels
  • Up to 64GB RAM in certain configurations
  • Supports Dual-Core AMD Opteron or Intel Xeon CPU’s
  • Gigabit Ethernet or Infiniband
